Pakistan Army capable of defeating all threats ‘irrespective of the front’: COAS

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Saturday said the army is aware of the defence and security challenges being faced by the country and is capable to defeat all threats ‘irrespective of the front’.

The Army Chief visited troops along the Line of Control in Muzaffarabad sector, where he was given detailed briefing regarding operational situation, Indian cease fire violations and response by Pakistani troops.

COAS interacted with the troops and appreciated their state of operational readiness, exemplary high morale and motivation for fulfillment of assigned mission.

The troops also shared their feelings about Indian atrocities and ceasefire violations targeting innocent civilians and pledged that no Indian misadventure shall go without a befitting response.

He was also briefed on the ongoing communication infrastructure development by Frontier Works Organization (FWO). He appreciated the work and said the army shall continue to play its role in nation building projects.

COAS hailed Kashmiris on both sides of the LoC for their determination against Indian brutalities and reiterated that Pakistan shall continue its support for the right to self determination of Kashmiri brethren in Indian-occupied Kashmir.
