Pakistan beat India in Kabaddi match

LAHORE: Pakistan defeated India in a Kabaddi match in the Indo-Pak Punjab Games held under the ongoing Punjab Youth Festival here in Lahore on Monday (today) whereas the Women's kabaddi team was defeated by the Indian side, ARY News reports.

Punjab Youth Festival's Indo-Pak Punjab Games kicked off in Punjab Stadium here in Lahore today. Earlier, Indian women's kabaddi team defeated Pakistan 38-15 whereas Pakistan's Men's team defeated the Indian Men's side 51-34.

Hamza Shahbaz, son of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, was the chief guest on the occasion. He said that Pakistan – India friendship should be promoted and congratulated the nation on Pakistan's thrilling victory over India in the Asia Cup yesterday.

Large number of spectators had gathered to watch the kabaddi match between the two teams. They cheered the teams through out the match.
