Pakistan, Belarus agree to increase bilateral trade cooperation

KARACHI: Pakistan and Belarus have agreed to form special committees to increase bilateral cooperation in trade and economic activities.

The understanding to this effect was reached at a meeting between Chairperson Sindh Board of Investment Naheed Memon and Belarus delegation led by Minister of Industries  Vitaly Vovk in Karachi on Sunday.

During the meeting, matters relating to cooperation in various fields including industries, agriculture and dairy products come under discussion.

It was decided that special committees will conduct study and propose the major sectors for cooperation.

The meeting also discussed cooperation in banking sector, exchange of trade delegations, joint ventures in automobile and pharmaceutical industry and tractor assembling in Pakistan.
