Pakistan concerned over delay in Samjhauta Express attacks investigation

This was stated in a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs who said that it has conveyed the concerns to India over the incident which took place on 8th February 2007 in which more than 42 Pakistani nationals lost their lives.

It said the Indian attempt to exonerate some of the individuals involved in the attacks have raised serious questions over the due process of law and dispensation of justice.

It called upon the Indian government to share information about the investigation proceedings of the terrorist attacks.

There has been no development over the investigation which is believed to taken perpetrated by Hindu ring-wing extremists. Pakistan has previously expressed concern that India is not serious about pursuing the case.
