Pakistan doesn't sell arms to UN restricted states, clarifies FO
ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office (FO) of Pakistan has clarified that Pakistan does not sell its arms to states, facing restrictions by the United Nations (UN) – ARY News reports.
The FO Spokesperson, Tasneem Aslam elaborated that Pakistan sells its arms and ammunition under the "End-User Certificate (EUC)", according to which it cannot sell its weapons a third world country.
She mentioned that no arms are being sent to Syria, adding that we do not sell arms to any such state that is facing UN restrictions of arms trade.
Speaking about strained ties with Iran, Tasneem Aslam told that there is nothing to worry in Pakistan's relations with neighboring Iran, whilst the Iranian authorities have not provided any information relating to their abducted border guards.
