Ali Shan scored the first goal for Pakistan in the 20th minute and Rizwan Ali doubled the side’s lead four minutes later.
Japan pulled a goal back for Japan in the 48th minute but Muhammad Arslan Qadir netted the ball seconds later.
Qadir scored his second and Pakistan’s fourth goal of the match in the 57th minute.
