ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Ambassador to France Moin-ul-Haq has said that bilateral relations of Pakistan and France were improving in all sectors.
While briefing a 10-member delegation of 109th National Management Course of Pakistan at the Pakistan Embassy in Paris, Moin-ul-Haq said the two countries enjoyed close and mutually beneficial relations in the fields of trade and investment, defence, education and culture.
He also briefed the delegation about public diplomacy initiative of the embassy to promote soft image of Pakistan and as well as highlighted tourism potential of the country.
The ambassador expressed the hope that visit of the National Management Course to Paris would provide a good opportunity to them to learn about the French administrative structure, their training regimes and best practices and policies in other fields.

The delegation during its week-long stay in Paris would have meetings and briefings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Climate Change, Centre of High Studies of Ministry of Interior, French Business Federation and National Museum of Asian Arts.
Earlier in a statement, French Ambassador to Pakistan Marc Barety said that France supported Chinese Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) concept and was ready to invest in the subsequent phases of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) provided balance and transparency was ensured.
He said France investments in Pakistan would be enhanced in due course of time. He added that about 40 French companies including Engie, Total and Sanofi were doing successful business and France was keen to enhance to bilateral trade which was presently 1.4 billion Euros.
He said that France and Germany were planning joint cultural events in Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar which were being held with desired freedom keeping in view the tremendous improvement in the security situation in Pakistan.
France was also opening French language institutes in Peshawar, Faisalabad and Karachi, said the ambassador.
