Pakistan has got an Islamic constitution, mentions Professor Ibrahim
CHARSADDA: Member of Taliban nominated committee, Professor Ibrahim has mentioned that the constitution of Pakistan is highly in accordance with Islam and Shariah, however he inquired how the forces which violated the constitution, are asking Taliban to abide by this – ARY News reports.
Talking to media here on Friday, Professor Ibrahim said the constitution of Pakistan is according to the Islamic teachings and Shariah, whereas he stated that for rooting out terrorism from the state, authorities will have to break down secret hands involved.
Ibrahim also inquired how the forces that violated the constitution, are demanding Taliban for submitting to it.
Admitting the constitution of Pakistan has been an obstacle in the way of negotiations between the Government and Taliban, for at times Taliban leaders has agreed upon holding a dialogue within the constitutional sphere, yet with the surgical strikes by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in North Waziristan, reports popped up mentioning the leaders of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) denying the constitution once again and demanding for implementing Shariah here.
