Pakistan is in a state of war: Chaudhry Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that Pakistan is in a state of war, ARY News reports on Saturday.

The statement was made on the passing out parade of police officers. Police gave Chaudhry Nisar a grand welcome as he arrived at the ceremony.

Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said that no Pakistanis were involved in 9/11 attacks. He added that world became safe and Pakistan became unsafe after the incident.

The Federal Interior Minister said that thousands of Pakistanis have sacrificed their lives against the war on terror. Interior Minister stated that the brutal terrorists are targeting the nation and the security forces of Pakistan.

Chaudhry Nisar said that Police has to show extraordinary performance. He said that the force has a huge responsibility of protecting the country from enemies and their duties have also increased. He further added that the Police should be loyal to the state rather than the Federal Government.

"We want to create such a Pakistan where there is rule of law", Nisar said.

Later, prizes were distributed amongst officers who showed outstanding performances during their training.
