Pakistan is proud of her Navy: Nawaz Sharif

KARACHI: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that the nation is proud of its navy, ARY News reports.

The statement was made as the Prime Minister addressed the 100th midshipman passing out parade of Pakistan Navy.

Prime Minister said that the Navy provides support on land as well as the airspace. He stated that the Navy is leased with latest weapons and technology.

He added that he lauds the officials for make the academy as a top notch training centre. 

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was given a guard of honor during the ceremony.

101 cadets, including 9 foreigners, have passed out in the parade and will be promoted to the rank of Lieutenants after spending six monthship.

Federal Defence Minister Khwaja Asif and Information Minister Pervez Rasheed were also present on the occasion. Earlier, Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan and Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah welcomed the Premier as he arrived in the provincial metropolis.
