Pakistan lacks behind due to conspiracies against every Gov't: Ahsan Iqbal
ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Planning and Development, Ahsan Iqbal has said that a political theatre is staged in Pakistan after every 6 months, to dismiss Government and because of this the country remains years back economically – ARY News reports.
Addressing a seminar with respect to the economy of Pakistan on Monday, Ahsan Iqbal said that for a country to progress, political stability and continuity of economic policies is highly required, but in Pakistan conspiracies begin within months after a new Government comes into power. He slammed the people sitting back in Canada for making controversial claims against the Government.
Ahsan Iqbal said that Pakistan can greatly benefit from the economic progress of Western China, whereas he expressed his fears that if the Diamer-Bhasha Dam could not be constructed in the next ten years, then the situation like Thar can engulf the entire country.
The Minister for Planning stressed on the need of educating the masses in the fields, which can help improving the national economy. He told that the Government has planned to increase the volume of exports of the country up to 125 billion rupees, by 2025.
