LAHORE: Ex-cricketer Tauseef Ahmed has said that Pakistan is not desperate for playing cricket with India.

Tauseef Ahmed, one of the members of Pakistan’s selection committee, made the statement while talking exclusively with ARY News.

“I can assure you that a time will come when India will be afraid of Pakistan,” Ahmed said.

“We don’t care if India does not want to play against us,” he added.

President Board Of Control For Cricket In India (BCCI) Anurag Thakur had ruled out any cricket event between India and Pakistan following the attack on Indian military base in Uri sector of occupied Kashmir.

The Indian cricket board also asked the International Cricket Council (ICC) not to place India in the same group with Pakistan in any international cricket event.

The Indian board decisions have pushed the cricketing ties between the two countries to all time low in the backdrop of deteriorating situation in Kashmir.
