Pakistan not letting terrorists flee the country: Tariq Fatemi

WASHINGTON: Prime Minister’s advisor on foreign affairs, Tariq Fatemi on Tuesday said that Pakistan did not let any terrorist escape the military operation in the country and it is Afghanistan that should finish fleeing terrorists, ARY News reported.

The advisor who is in US on a week’s visit, said that US will continue to pay for war against terrorism even after withdrawal from Afghanistan maintaining that Pakistan is informing both the countries regarding the Zarb-e-Azb operation against terrorists in NWA.

He futher said that he cannot tell that opting out of military operation back in 2010 was a correct decision or not.

Fatemi clarified that Pakistan is willing to trade with Iran keeping in view the restrictions imposed by United Nations.

The PM’s advisor will participate in UN’s security council meeting on July 28th.
