Pakistan now on the verge of collapse: Imran

TOP NEWS

Addressing Ulema Conference here in Islamabad, Khan said 110 million Pakistanis even could not have two meals in a day due to poverty.

Imran said the incident in France regarding publishing of blasphemous caricatures was meant to incite Muslims.

He slammed the impression of linking terrorism with Islam.

The PTI chief said 2.4 million students are enrolled in madaris (religious seminaries) while 1 million are enrolled in English medium schools. Syllabus reforms should be introduced in Madaris, he demanded.

Regarding alleged election rigging, the PTI chief said those indulged in malpractices and dishonesty could never provide justice.

He asked who stood up against “record” rigging in the general elections of 2013. It never happened in the entire Pakistan’s history that petrol may go vanished like the crisis occurred this time, he said.

Khan apprehended the country was now on the verge of collapse. “Our Ulema did not do the work that they should have done.”
