KARACHI: Pakistan Railways has issued a notification of maintaining the reduced fares of several passenger trains till June 30 – ARY News reports.
Pakistan Railways had cut short the fares of AC, AC Business and AC Sleeper classes of several trains up to 40 percent and the reduction was to end on March 31, which is now extended to June 30.
Railways has also included the Sukkur Express (Karachi-Sukkur) into the list of trains whose fares were lessened.
It was further reported that Pakistan Railways earned more than 4 billion rupees during six months, despite of reduction in tariff.
