Pakistan reaches 3rd position in ICC T20 rankings

DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday released its latest T20 rankings, with Pakistan clinching the third position, ARY News reported.

Sri Lanka, the World T20 champion, have topped the list with 133 points. India has been pushed on the second position with 130 points following their embarrassing defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka on Sunday. Pakistan is standing on a third position with 120 rating points.

South Africa, which qualified for the World T20 semi-final and knocked out by India, is placed on 4^th place in the ICC T20 rankings.

Other descending ranks include West Indies on 5^th , Australia 6^th, New Zealand 7^th, England 8^th, Ireland 9^th and Bangladesh 10^th position.
