FAISALABAD: Renowned legal expert and the counsel of Pervez Musharraf in Treason Trial, Ahmed Raza Kasuri has said that the need of the hour in Pakistan is electricity and employment, not Musharraf's trial – ARY News reports.

Talking to media here on Thursday, Ahmed Raza Kasuri said that the trial against former President is not a matter of weeks or months, it will take years to resolve and till then whether Nawaz Sharif will be the Prime Minister or not, nothing can be said.

Criticizing the Government team for negotiations with Taliban, he said that committee shows the extent up to which the Government is sincere in dialogue process.

"The coordinator of Government committee, Irfan Siddiqui is a good writer for sure, but he has not even got enough powers to make an SHO listen to him" added Kasuri.

The counsel of Musharraf also lashed out at the Law Minister Punjab for his repetitive statements about Pervez Musharraf. ‘Rana Sanaullah has nothing to do with law, he became minister on the basis of his moustache’, he added.
