JEDDAH: Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have signed a deal with regard to Hajj arrangements for Year 2014, ARY News reported on Wednesday.

Pakistan's Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousuf has said that 1,43,000 Pakistan nationals will perform Hajj this year. 

Sardar Yousuf and his Saudi counterpart Dr. Bandar al-Hajjar signed the agreement in Jeddah.

Sardar Yousuf said this year 143‚000 pilgrims will perform Hajj and their stay for the pilgrimage will be 40 days. 

He said the new Hajj policy will be formulated in the light of the agreement signed with the Saudi government. 

The minister said that the federal cabinet will approve the number of Hajj pilgrims and the arrangements for the pilgrimage.
