Pakistan to face Japan in Asian CT final
TOKYO: The final of Asian Hockey Champions Trophy 2013 will be played between Pakistan and host Japan in Kakamigahara, Japan on November 10, ARY News reported on Saturday.
Pakistan has remained unbeaten throughout the tournament and had beaten Oman, China, Malaysia and India while the match against Japan remained equal with two goals each.
Japan has also showed outstanding performance in the event and a tough competition is expected between the two.
Meanwhile Malaysia will take on China for bronze medal and India will play against Oman for the fifth-sixth position match.
Pakistan is participating in the event as the defending champion of Asian Hockey Champions Trophy.
National hockey team had won their first title in 2012 by beating their arch rivals India in the final.
