Pakistan to stand by Saudia Arabia in all times: minister

Speaking at a press conference here, Pervez Rasheed said that his government fully supports parliament’s resolution on Yemen however it will stand by Saudi Arabia in every test the kingdom faced.

He added that Saudi Arabia is a brotherly state and it has extended its unparalleled support to Pakistan in every difficult situation.

The minister however said that the Yemeni government should be reinstated as the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had also said that the Yemen’s Hadi-government was deposed illegally.

Pakistan also respects the decision of the international fraternity on Yemen conflict, he added.

Commenting on Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s allegations and the judicial commission, he said that we are awaiting the presentation of PTI’s claims before the judicial commission, adding that Tehreek-i-Insaf is reiterating same old things and that the government will respond to any newer claims of PTI.

Speaking about Karachi by-election, Rasheed said that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz had decided not to field its candidate in NA-246 by-election, for it holds the peace of Karachi much important.

“Our politics is aimed at the serving the Karachi populace and making it a peaceful city,” he said. “We do not intend to snatch away National Assembly seats from Karachi.”
