Pakistan wants friendly ties with all its neighbors: Nawaz

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that Pakistan wants friendly relations with all of its neighbouring countries, ARY News reports.

PM Nawaz Sharif met with High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit on Wednesday.

In the meeting, Pakistan’s envoy to New Delhi discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries with the prime minister. He also briefed the premier about the latest situation of Pakistan’s ties with India.

The prime minister added that India is an important neighbour of the country and Pakistan wants relations based on respect and equality.

Sharif further said that all disputes including Kashmir have to be resolved for peace and stability in the region.
