ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday said Pakistan will continue efforts for peace in Afghanistan.
The state minister while talking to an Afghan media delegation said that peace and security in Afghanistan is in the interest of Pakistan.
She said stability in neighboring countries will promote regional connectivity and the entire region will reap its benefits.
Ms. Aurangzeb said Pakistan wants meaningful dialogue with Afghanistan. She said a peaceful neighbourhood is the vision of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
She said terrorists are enemies of the whole world including Pakistan and Afghanistan. “Pakistan has an unflinching determination to root out the menace of terrorism,” she said.
She added that regional peace and tranquility and development and prosperity are interlinked.
