Pakistan will enter in a new phase of development: Ahsan Iqbal

LAHORE: Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal said on Saturday that Pakistan will enter in new phase of development, ARY News reported.

Ahsan Iqbal said that government is trying to introduce reforms in the structure of administration and system to governance for the self dependent economy.

The Minister briefed media about vision 2025 by saying through the vision priorities will be given to human resource development.

Ahsan Iqbal said that infrastructure development is priority of the government and construction of motorways is inevitable for development. He said that 155 billion rupees will be allocated for power while 151 billion rupees for transport sector in the coming budget.

Earlier on Thursday, a meeting of National Economic Council (NEC) held, chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and approved the ‘Pakistan Vision 2025’ plan.
