Pakistani businessmen’s troubles in getting UK visa will soon be removed: Belinda Lewis

KARACHI: British Deputy High Commissioner in Karachi Belinda Lewis on Saturday acknowledged the fact that Pakistani businessmen were facing troubles in getting business visa for UK and said those issue would soon be removed, ARY News reported.

“The economy of England is one of the biggest economies of the world. There are a lot of chances of investment in agriculture and cosmetics. I wish that Pakistani investors get benefit of investing in Britain,” she said while talking to traders at the Federation Of Pakistan Chambers Of Commerce & Industry in Islamabad.

She admitted that there was a need to form a committee to resolve visa issues and promote business. Volume of the bilateral trade will increase in the coming days.

About Brexit, she said currently nothing could be said as to what impact would Brexit have.
