We woke up yesterday to immensely heartwrenching and spine-chilling news of a man getting inside two separate mosques, killing every person he saw with an automatic machine gun, killing at least 49 people along with many being injured in Christchurch, New Zealand.

The entire world is shaken by the audacity of the terrorist to get inside the mosque and open fire on innocent, helpless people who were probably immersed in their Friday prayers. Pakistani celebrities are also grief-stricken by the harrowing massacre and they have expressed their condolence via social media, sympathizing with the families of Christchurch attack victims.

Faysal Quraishi strongly condemns the attack, writing “Terrorist has no religion.” He also condoles families of the victims.

The renown philanthropist, Shaneira Akram who happens to be of Australian descent, not only expressed sorrow over the incident, but she also slammed the Australian senator Fraser Anning for justifying the heinous attack.

Mawra Hocane questions, “Any individual who attacks especially at a place of prayer, how can they belong to any religion at all?” She also asks all her fans to have love, peace, and tolerance for one another.

Just like all these celebrities and everyone who is praying for the victims, we all must stay united in this time of grief and sorrow. May the families of the victims find peace and patience. Please remember them in your prayers.
