Pakistani crew members of 'MT Morning Glory' to reach here tomorrow evening: FO

ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office (FO) of Pakistan has said that six Pakistani crew members of the cargo vessel 'MT Morning Glory' will reach here by tomorrow evening – ARY News reports.

The FO Spokesperson, Tasneem Aslam told that Pakistani crew members of a North Korean ship, MT Morning Glory, which were held captive by the rebels in the territorial waters of Libya, are expected to reach here on Wednesday evening.

She elaborated that Libya has handed over these crew members to Pakistani High Commission there and a flight is being arranged for them.

These Pakistani crew members include Mirza Noman Baig (Captain), Ghufran Marghoob Ahmed (Cheif Officer), Syed Muhammad Mehdi Shamsi (2nd Officer), Syed Asif Hassan (3rd Officer), Naik Zada (Crew Member), Muhammad Irshad (Crew Member).

After the successful rescue effort by the American forces from Cyprian sea water, the cargo vessel along with 21 crew members had reached Libya, where they remained in government custody till Monday and 6 Pakistanis were handed over to their high commission earlier today.
