Pakistani diplomatic authorities will meet Altaf Hussain: Pervaiz Rasheed
ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Pervaiz Rasheed vowed that Pakistani diplomatic authorities will provide full assistance to Altaf Hussain and will meet him soon, ARY News reported.
Talking to media in Islamabad on Wednesday, Pervaiz Rasheed said that soon after hearing about arrest of MQM Chief Altaf Hussain, Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif directed Pakistani High Commission there to contact the Altaf Hussain to provide every kind of assistance.
The Minister said Altaf Hussain is Pakistan national and its responsibility of government to help citizens of Pakistan. He said the Government would play its effective role over the matter.
Speaking about the martyrdom of army officers, who laid down their lives in two terrorist attacks today, Pervaiz Rasheed said personnel of the national security institutions are our hero and our true love and devotion are with them. He said whole nation paid rich tributes to the army officers and their sacrifices will always be remembered.
