Pakistani's exported love, which I will take to India: Om Puri
LAHORE: Veteran Indian actor Om Puri urged to strengthen the bond between Pakistan and India asking leaders to play their role in bringing the two countries closer to each other, ARY News reported.
Om Puri said that Pakistanis exported love, which he will be taking along with him back to India and will distribute this to the people and leaders of his country.
Om Puri met President of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and former vice president Perviaz Elahi on Sunday in Lahore. Both praised Puri's diplomacy and feelings for Pakistan.
Speaking about Indian politics to media at press Club, Lahore the actor said although there are some objections over Narender Modi and Rahul Gandhi but suspension of religious conflicts for the last 15 years is a good sign.
He said that Lahore is the hub of art which is the reason that despite visiting various countries. He agreed to work in Pakistani films if get offer of any good role.
