Pakistan's measures for economic growth are correct, says Richard Olson
ISLAMABAD: U.S Ambassador Richard Olson said that government of Pakistan is on the right path and taking correct measures for the economic growth of the country, ARY News reported.
Speaking to media on Monday, Richard Olson said that establishing peace in the country is Pakistan’s internal matter although U.S. is ready to provide every kind of assistance in attaining peace.
He said 1000 Mega Watt (MW) of electricity has been added to national grid through co-operation of U.S. and he also assured to cooperate with Islamabad to overcome gas shortage in the country and help it in the import of liquefied natural gas (LNG).
Richard Olson said U.S will encourage financer for the investment in Pakistan's energy and other sectors. He termed the access of Pakistani products to American market as a positive development.
U.S Ambassador said Pakistan has given matchless sacrifices in the war against terrorism stating that both the countries have same stance over the issue.
