Palestine Issue: Imran writes letter to Ban Ki-moon

ISLAMABAD: The chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan wrote a letter to the secretary general of the United Nations (UN), Ban Ki-moon, condemning Israeli aggression on Palestine and urging the UN to play its role on the issue – ARY News reports.

Imran Khan said in his letter that it is written to you as the leader of the second largest party in Pakistan.

Addressing the UN secretary general, the PTI chief said that thousands of Palestinians are being torn down by the Israeli forces, during the holy month of Ramadan and the UN has been a silent spectator of this massacre.

He said that innocent Palestinians cannot even escape from their troubled land, as Egypt has also sealed the border.

Khan reminded Ban Ki-moon of the UN’s responsibility of maintaining international peace and urged him to play his role for saving the reputation of the UN.

The PTI chairman said in his letter that killings of women, children and old people cannot be ignored and the international fraternity will have to play its role to abandon this.
