Parineeti Chopra keeps ‘safe distance’ from Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra had clashed at the box office in the past when Priyanka’s Zanjeer and Parineeti’s Shudh Desi Romance had hit the silver screen.
This time it was Priyanka’s Mary Kom and Parineeti’s Daawat-E-Ishq which were all set to release on 5th September. However, now Parineeti’s film has been postponed to 19th September. YRF in a press statement mentioned that a unique marketing idea being adopted by YRF for the film’s promotion which needs more time to implement.
According to industry insider, Parineeti is maintaining a distance from Priyanka at the box office. Owing to the extraordinary response to Mary Kom, the makers of Daawat-E-Ishq have planned to postpone the release to 19th September.
The source further added that Daawat-E-Ishq’s has failed to create a buzz in the industry and the makers don’t want to clash with Mary Kom at the box office.
According to a report in the past, the Chopra scion was disappointed with the way Aditya Roy Kapur and Parineeti Chopra starrer ‘Daawat-e-Ishq’ was shaping up. Reportedly Aditya Chopra wanted the director, Habib Faisal to pull up his socks and re-shoot several parts of the film.
