LAHORE: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) will stage a protest against inflation today, ARY News reports.
Ealier, Chief PAT Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri had announced protests against the staggering inflation in the country.
PAT workers, while raising national and party flags, have started to reach the rendezvous point. They have also painted their faces and raised placards while chanting slogans. They are also dancing on dhol beats.
The protestors have said that the inflation is the reason why they have come out on the streets.
A rally will be carried out from Nasir Bagh to Punjab Assembly where PAT Chairman will address the crowd via videolink from Canada. The arrangements for the rally have been completed.
Mall Road rally will be led by PAT Chairman's son Dr. Hussain Mohiuddin.
