PCB authorized Sethi to make recovery of Rs. 20mn from Ashraf
LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) Management Committee met on Monday under the presidentship of Chairman PCB Najam Sethi at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, ARY News reported.
During the meeting, the committee memebrs took note of the outstanding arrears of approximately Rs 20 million detailed in the internal audit report for the period Zaka Ashraf was Chairman PCB and authorised Najam Sethi to inquire into the matter and make an attempt to enforce recoveries.
The meeting which was attended by Shaharyar M. Khan, Iqbal Qasim, Shakil Shaikh, Zaheer Abbas, Subhan Ahmad, Chief Operating Officer PCB and others, unanimously endorsed Najam Sethi’s request to the Ministry of International ProvincialCoordination (IPC) to promulgate the new democratic PCB Constitution at the earliest and subsequently conduct the elections without delay.
