LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is silencing its critics by offering money to former cricketers criticizing the board, ARY News reports on Friday.

According to sources, PCB has offered former cricketer Sarfaraz Nawaz monthly wage of Rs. 1 lac and daily payment of Rs. 15,000 during the training camps. Under the deal, the outspoken Sarfaraz Nawaz will be bound not to issue statements against the team or the PCB administration during his one year contract.

According to the assignment, Sarfaraz Nawaz will monitor the talent hunt programs of PCB in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar, Abbotabad and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA).

Speaking exclusively to ARY News, Sarfaraz Nawaz said that he did not pass any negative comments against PCB Chairman Najam Sethi. He said that Sethi is working for the improvement of cricket in Pakistan.
