PCB announces 16-member squad for T20I series against Sri Lanka

LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board on Tuesday announced the squad for the three T20I series against Sri Lanka, ARY News reported.

The National Selection Committee headed by Inzamam ul Haq has selected 16-member squad for Pakistan’s three-match T-20I series whichwill commence from October 26.

The squad comprises

Sarfraz Ahmed (Captain/WK)
Fakhar Zaman
Ahmed Shahzad
Babar Azam
Shoaib Malik
Muhammad Hafeez
Imad Wasim
Shadab Khan
Muhammad Nawaz
Faheem Ashraf
Hasan Ali
Amir Yamin
Muhammad Amir (Subject to fitness clearance)
Rumman Raees
Usman Shinwari
Umar Amin

It is pertinent to note here that Sri Lankan Cricket Board on Monday confirmed its commitment to play the third and final T20 game of the series at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on October 29.

The Selections Committee of SLC will finalize a squad of 22 by the October 17, and announce the final 15 on the 20th October.
