PCB unveils domestic structure
Najam Sethi along with PCB’s director for games development Haroon Rahsheed unveiled the domestic structure in a press conference held in Lahore on Wednesday.
On the occasion, Chairman PCB said that change in domestic structure was required for the betterment of cricket.
Under the new structure, top 50-player of Pakistan Under-15 will be awarded Rs.5000 per month.
Furthermore, now the first class cricket has been into two divisions. The division one tournament will be called ‘Gold league’ comprising six regional and six departmental teams while the division two will be ‘Silver league’ with seven department and as many regional teams.
Speaking at press conference, Haroon Rasheed said that the number of regional teams has been increased to 16 and the team performing well will be rewarded.
