KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sought an explanation from England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) over English paceman Struat Broad’s remarks on Saeed Ajmal’s bowling action, ARY News has learnt.

The PCB has written a letter to the ECB asking them what action they have taken against Broad for comments he has made against Ajmal.

Ajmal, who is currently playing for Worcestershire claimed 13 wickets in their recent victory over Essex, including a career-best haul of 7 for 19 in the second innings.

Following his magical performance Michael Vaughan, the former England captain tweeted: "You are allowed 15 degrees of flex in your delivery swing…. #justsaying" along with Ajmal’s till photograph of bowling during the game.

In a reply to Vaughan, Broad wrote a comment: "This has to be a fake photo?!" before a further tweet stated, "Bowlers can bowl very differently in a lab while being tested compared to needing wickets in the middle."

Saeed Ajmal expressed concerns over the tweet instructing PCB to talk ECB about the comments.
