Peace Talks: Aziz neither in nor out of negotiations process
ISLAMABAD: Khateeb of Laal Masjid and member of Taliban announced committee for Peace Talks, Molana Abdul Aziz has said that he is not parting ways from negotiations process, yet he is also not involved in it. He added that Taliban do not admit the constitution of Pakistan and if this condition is imposed, then the peace process can possibly be waylaid – ARY News reports.
Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Molana Abdul Aziz told that he attended yesterday's meeting of the two committees with complete sincerity despite of some reservations and he will not get aside himself from the process even now.
He stated that we took the shelter of the Holy Quran and Sunnah while making the constitution and if the Holy Quran and Sunnah were our constitution exactly, then there would be no issues.
Abdul Aziz said that until the Islamic laws are not implemented, the issue will not be resolved.
He criticized the members of the Parliament for not being aware of the translation of the Holy Quran and inquired that how could such people interpret the constitution.
The member of the Taliban committee told that Taliban do not admit the constitution of Pakistan and if this condition is imposed, then the peace process is feared to be waylaid.
