Peace talks with Taliban: Samiul Haq says government is helpless
ISLAMABAD: Maulana Samiul Haq, chief of his own faction JUI-S, has blamed the government committee, formed for mediating peace talks with Taliban, of being powerless, ARY News reported on Wednesday.
Speaking to media here, Maulana, who is also a part of Taliban committee, said the current issue was pulling out of a foreign war. He also expressed disappointment ‘on the behavior of PTI chief Imran Khan’, He said, “We are violating the constitution by not implementing the Sharia law.” Peace cannot be restored till presence of American forces in the region, he added.
He said prime minister is helpless as he cannot even get stopped drone attacks in the country.
