LAHORE: Head of Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PMLF), Pir Pagara has met the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif and exchanged views with him on the overall scenario of the state – ARY News reports.
During the meet, the Prime Minister said that along with other issues law and order of Karachi is also at the priority list of the government and it is making such efforts which could restore peace in the largest metropolis of Pakistan.
He vowed that the central government will continue to back the law enforcement agencies (LEAs) fully for the economy of the state is related to peace in Karachi.
PM Nawaz said that the issues of Karachi are complicated enough, yet the government is heading towards a peaceful metropolitan city and an indiscriminate action will be taken against criminals there.
Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif were also present at the meeting.
