ISLAMABAD: The meeting of Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) on Geo TV issue has concluded, none of the Government members participated in the proceedings; however the private members have formed a committee for the implementation of their decisions – ARY News reports.
According to details, Government members tried to delay today's meeting and left the proceedings, after which five members continued on Geo TV issue.
These PEMRA members formed a three-member committee for the implementation of their decisions about the closure of Geo TV.
The committee will comprise of Fariha Iftikhar (chairperson), Israr Abbasi and Shama Perveen Magsi.
