Speaking in corner meetings in Liaquatabad and FC area, Naveed told the people of area that MQM chief Altaf Hussain has chosen him to serve the people of area and he will not leave any stone unturned in this cause.
Lashing out at opponents, the MQM candidate claimed that each day a new conspiracy or drama appears to make the by-election controversial.
“But we tell all these parties, no matter what tricks you play, as people of this constituency love their leader Altaf Hussain and will not let him down”, said Naveed.
About PTI chief Imran Khan, he claimed that these days PTI chief is appearing a lot worried about people of Karachi but we ask him that did he raise voice for problems of the people of the city before today.
Naveed claimed that the poor situation of Karachi is due to the governments in province and center as they never gave Karachi its due right.
The NA-246 constituency of Karachi will witness a by-poll on April 23 as the seat fell vacant after Nabil Gabol who was elected on the ticket of MQM in the 2013 general elections, resigned from his seat after developing differences with the party.
A number of candidates are participating in the election with the most notable being MQM’s Kunwar Naveed Jamil, PTI’s Imran Ismail and JI’s Rashid Nasim. The by-polls are due to be held on April 23, 2015.
