Rasheed asks people to have positive hopes with Gov't-Taliban talks
LAHORE: Federal Information Minister, Senator Pervez Rasheed has said that the people should have positive expectations regarding Government's talks with Taliban, whereas a venue for direct talks is being decided by the authorities – ARY News reports.
Talking to media here, Pervez Rasheed said that the Government and Judiciary are not separate from each other; factually the courts assist the executive in provision of the justice.
He stated that the people should have positive expectations from Government-Taliban negotiations, whilst it will be better to talk as least as possible, about this issue.
Commenting on Saudi Arabia's aid worth of 1.5 billion USD to Pakistan, Rasheed said that the friends of Pakistan have always stood beside it in its difficult times and such an aid by Saudi Arabia is nothing new.
