ISLAMABAD: Accountability Court on Friday framed charges against former prime minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and other accused in Rental Power Projects (RPP) case, ARY News reported.
The names of Iqbal Z. Ahmed and M.N. Baig were deleted from the list of the accused.
Counsel of Pervez Ashraf, Farooq H. Naik, talking to newsmen after the hearing, said that former prime minister will soon be acquitted in the case. He said his client didn't take any financial benefit.
Raja Pervez Ashraf, called the allegations against him as baseless.
The court has adjourned hearing of the RPP case till February 04.
