PESHAWAR: Bomb Disposal Squad defused a cylinder filled with over five kilograms of explosive material on Monday, ARY News reported.
The explosives-packed cylinder was placed at a fruit cart at Peshawar’s Karkhano Market.
The traders informed Police after noticing the suspicious cylinder. The law enforcement officials summoned the bomb squad, who reached the scene and defused the explosives.
People gathered at the scene expressed their delight after the bomb device defused and chanted slogans in favour of the bomb disposal squad.
Police officials said that the explosive device was connected with a remote control.
Officials said that the provincial capital has been saved from a major terrorist attack.
