Qalandars’ Azhar Ali lost the toss and the match as the top and middle order failed terribly. Junaid Khan returned Gayle to pavilion on golden duck, hence unnerving the Lahori’ites.

At a score of four runs, Lahore Qalandars lost three wickets. The failure of middle order further added to the woes.

Dwayne Bravo scored highest 32 runs in the innings, while Azhar Ali could only reach 21 runs mark.

Lahore Qalandars finished their innings scoring 117 runs – least total in the PSL so far.

In the second innings, Tamim Iqbal and Muhammad Hafeez played brilliantly scoring 55 and 43 runs respectively.

Peshawar Zalmi chased required 118 runs in 16 overs at a loss of one wicket.
