ISLAMABAD: A petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court to stop the publicity of treason case against the former President and Army Chief General (Retd.) Pervez Musharraf in the media, ARY News reports on Wednesday.
The petition has taken stance that the treason case is being publicized in the media without any reason and it is being given a political face through debates whereas it’s purely a constitutional issue.
According to the petitioner, the debate on the case comes under contempt of court. It is requested in the petition that the court should stop the debate on the case.
