Petrol prices hiked by Rs2 per litre

ISLAMABAD: The government on Saturday revised prices of petroleum products for the month of October increasing the price of petrol by Rs. 2 per litre each which is now available for Rs. 73.50 per litre.

Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended an increase of Rs. 2.35 per litre in the price of MS 92 RON Petrol, Rs. 2.17 per litre in the price of High Speed Diesel (HSD), Rs. 19.32 per litre in the price of kerosene, and Rs. 14.09 per litre in the price of Light Diesel Oil (LDO).

However, after considering the proposal of OGRA, the prime minister decided to increase the prices of petrol, HSD and LDO by Rs. 2 per litre each. HSD will be available for Rs. 79.40 per litre, while LDO will be available for Rs. 46 per litre.

The price of kerosene oil has increased by Rs. 4 per litre and will now be available for Rs. 48 per litre.
