Petrol prices likely to be increased: OGRA sources

According to Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) sources, petrol prices are expected to increase by Rs. 2.60 per litre whereas the rates of light speed diesel are likely to be hiked by Rs. 1.90 per litre.

The sources also stated that the price of high speed diesel may be hiked by Rs. 2.55 per litre and per litre cost of kerosene may be increased by by Rs. 2.00 per litre.

Experts have said that the rates are being revised due to the additional general sales tax.
