Petroleum prices raised by Rs 3.50

Minister of Finance Ishaq Dar holding a presser today announced hike in the prices of petroleum, oil and lubricants (POL).

With the hike in prices, petrol will now be sold at Rs 77.79 per liter, while the new price of diesel will be Rs 87.12 per liter.

The new prices will be in effect from 12 am tonight, he announced.

Dar said that the government will give Rs six billion subsidy on petroleum products.
